Item number: STE26022339

Price: $295

A lovely (and rare) circular Edwardian sterling silver tobacco box/case with a spring-loaded lid, made in Birmingham 1907. The diameter of the box is about 7 cms, it's thickness is 2.5 cms, and it weighs 57 gms, which is very close to 2 oz. You don't see many of these tobacco boxes. They were typically used to store pipe tobacco in them. It has an inscription on the front dating to 1908.

7 piece Australian sterling silver cruet set with 3 small serving spoons

Item number: STE26022350

Price: $1550

A fabulous 7 piece early Australian sterling silver cruet set consisting of 4 pepper pots (one with different nozzle), plus two salts (with cobalt blue glass liners) and a mustard pot (also with glass insert). All of the pieces of this stunning cruet set match each other and are hallmarked identically with STG SIL followed by a crown, which is the standard for Australian sterling silver. They form a complete set which would be handy for that larger dinner party.

We have thrown in 3 hallmarked sterling silver spoons for the salts and mustard pot.

I did some research and the crown hallmark could be Fredrick Basse of Adelaide c1910. "STG SIL" is a standard for Australia.
Recently there was a single salt cellar on ebay for $395 by the same silversmith. This is a raee complete set.
