Sterling silver toast rack, 1924 or 1899

Item number: STE01122028

Price: $380

A lovely HMSS toast rack hallmarked to Sheffield 1924, or possibly 1899. The maker is JD WD, which is John & William Deakin, who registered in 1888. the rack holds 6 pieces of toast. It is in very good condition...just needs a clean.

Decorated HMSS cigarette case, c1920

A beautifully decorated sterling silver cigarette case hallmarked to Birmingham 1920, made by Wilmot manufacturing company. The case is rather solid and in excellent condition (no dents etc), but teh elastics inside have lost some of tehir elasticity and may need to be replaced. the case weighs about 93 gms which is over 3 oz. The case is a double case as cigarettes can be stored on both sides. The case is also gilded on the inside.

Silver cigarette case, made WHH, Birmingham 1909

Yet another HMSS cigarette case hallmarked to Birmingham 1909, made by WHH. It is in very good condition...even the elastics still have soem spring in them. The size of the case is 8.5 x 6.5 x 1.5 cms. It is monographed and dated 1912 on the front, which is when itw as given to someone as a present.

Sterling silver vase

A lovely heavy sterling silver vase, standing 15.5 cms tall, in excellent condition, bar two tiny little dints. The vase is weighted in the bottom (with wood I believe) but still weighs around 300 gms (10-11 oz).

HMSS fob chain, c1880

A HMSS fob chain hallmarked to Birmingham 1880, made by HA&S. every single little link in the chain is hallmarked with the English lion. One of the clasps is not silver, so must have been added to at a later date. The main part of the cahin is 37 cms long.
