Hallmarked sterling silver and 9ct gold
fob/pendant
Item number: STE01122247
Price: $265
A beautifully worked fob given to L. Margrave for the A.J. Cup (maybe a
horse race). The center piece is rose gold and so is some of the
surrounding area. The centre is likely to be 14 or 15 ct gold (which
was common then), and the other are is probably 9 ct gold. The rest of
the fob is sterling silver, and is hallmarked to Birmingham 1908, made
by William Aitken. The fob weighs about 15 gms of which the gold
content is probably about 3 gms. Would make a great pendant.

Magnificant Hallmarked sterling silver Art
Deco cigarette case
Item number: STE01122300
Price: $445
This has to be one of the best cigarette cases I have seen. It weighs
about 200 gms, which is 6-7 oz of silver. As you can imagine it is very
solid. It is in excellent condition and even comes with its original
sleave. It is nicely engraved all over and has a wild cat with a latin
inscription on the front. The condition of this case is that good it
looks like it has never been actually used....even the springs inside
are like new. The case is hallmarked to Birmingham 1937 and is made by
AC co. ltd..
This is a stunning top of the range silver
cigarette case.

large HMSS bon-bon dish, c1900

Price: $325
A large sterling silver bon-bon or center dish with pieced work and a
beaded edge. The hallmark is a bit difficult to make out, but it was
made in Birmingham in the early part of the 20th century. The letter
mark looks like an "a" which would mean it was made in 1900. The dish
weighs about 100 gms which is over 3 oz. the dish has a diameter of 17
cms and stands just over 2.5 cms high. The dish is in very good
condition, but has had a repair done to one of the bottom edges.
